Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought about major changes in various sectors of life, including the world of higher education. Campus digitalization has become an inevitability that encourages higher education institutions to adapt through the implementation of various digital technology-based systems, ranging from academic administration management, bold lecture systems, to digital library services. This phenomenon provides various advantages, such as easy access to learning resources, being involved in the teaching and learning process, and expanding the reach of communication between academics. However, on the other hand, digitalization also presents new challenges, especially related to student academic ethics. The practice of plagiarism, situations in bold exams, manipulation of research data, and leading to digital platforms are increasingly widespread issues along with the increasing openness of access to information and weak control in virtual spaces.
