INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION IN MATHEMATICS TEACHING BUILDING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH STUDENTS

One type of appropriate communication in mathematics learning is interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication helps teachers and students in learning and carrying out learning, for example, fostering students’ interest in learning mathematics. This research aims to determine interpersonal communication in mathematics teaching: building effective relationships with students. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis and interviews. Based on the results of interpersonal communication research, it shows positive results in improving effective relationships with students.
