Abstract

Learning is said to be good if a teacher succeeds in creating an active and creative teaching and learning process. In order to improve learning activities, an effective and efficient learning design is needed, one of which is using the inquiry learning method. The application of the inquiry learning method in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for fifth grade students of SDN 056635 Pasiran Air Hitam is in the high category, namely 60% (44 people). The student learning activity obtained a score of 4 or 80% as many as 35 people included in the high category. Meanwhile, the application of the inquiry learning method in the subject of Islamic Religious Education has an effect on the learning activities of fifth grade students of SDN 056635 Pasiran Air Hitam. This can be seen from the results of the hypothesis test obtained in the calculation (namely t0 = 7.02) is greater than tt (both at the 5% significance level and at the 1% significance level)..
