Abstract

Alwasliyah is a communication media that has the value of calling for goodness juxtaposed in the world of identity politics in the 2024 presidential election. Alwasliyah plays a role as a supervisor in the implementation of the presidential election according to the proper path that does not have the value of division, bringing down and vilifying. This research was conducted qualitatively with observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The results of the research obtained by Alwashliyah are not political parties in it, there are no political parties. Alwasliyah strongly disagrees with identity politics because identity politics can cause conflict. Therefore, Alwashliyah takes action not to interfere in politics, but Alwasliyah can be an influence in politics and is even sought after by political parties. Therefore, the strategy made by Alwashliyah in anticipating identity politics is by upholding the role of Alwasliyah, its vision and mission, its responsibilities so that it can direct politics in accordance with Islamic values. The conclusion of this research is that Alwashliyah is an Islamic organization that plays a role in spreading da'wah to the community, tasked with Amar makruf nahi mungkar with its communication model of da'wah using bil-hal, bil-qalam, bil-mujadalah methods. Alwashliyah also has an influence on politics by directing politics in accordance with Islamic values to create unity and peace
