Abstract

Gender equality in the context of the economy, education, families, and religion is covered in the study. It also examines how gender roles in contemporary society are shaped by religion. Despite progress in recognizing women's rights, barriers and discrimination still keep women from participating fully in a range of fields. This study uses a literature review methodology to look at 10 relevant scientific journals to understand the impact of religion on gender construction. The analysis process involves identifying key themes and comparing perspectives across religions and cultures to gain a more comprehensive insight. The findings indicate that the teachings of the Qur'an provide a strong moral foundation for gender equality, affirming balanced rights and responsibilities between men and women. Verses related to education, roles in the family, leadership, and economics underscore the importance of recognizing women's contributions. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the need for collaboration among the government, society, and educational institutions to create an environment that supports gender equality. By understanding and implementing Islamic teachings that stress justice, it is hoped that gender equality can be realized in practice, empowering women and fostering a more just and prosperous society
