Progressions of ethics and academic integrity in Islamic universities in the digital era are complex and multifactorial problems. This systematic ethics literature study analyzes the forms of academic violations, identifies the factors that cause them, and formulates preventive and curative solutions based on Islamic values. The results show that common forms of violations found include digital plagiarism, online exam cheating, and internet abuse. The causative factors include individual factors (attitude, motivation, understanding), institutional factors (education system, curriculum, policy), and environmental factors (family, peers, community). The proposed solutions include strengthening character education based on Islamic values, developing policies and systems that support academic integrity, using technology wisely, and collaborating with various parties. The most important finding of this study is the identification of new modus operandi of ethical violations that emerge along with the development of digital technology. This research makes an important contribution in understanding the problems of academic ethics in Islamic universities more deeply and developing an integrative framework in dealing with them. The implication of this finding is the need for concrete steps from Islamic universities to prevent and overcome violations of academic ethics in order to maintain\ institutional credibility and form graduates with integrity and morality.
