Abstract

Zikr, according to Islamic beliefs, is a kind of worship that involves remembering and being closer to Allah SWT. Zikr can be used as therapy to address mental health issues and has a favorable effect on mental health. An empty soul devoid of faith and piety is the primary cause of many issues in human existence, including those relating to families, jobs, education, marriage, and society. These issues then lead to anxiety, worry, fear, restlessness, and panic, which in turn cause health issues. in the mind. Islam has provided explanations, examples, and answers about mental health. A person will experience a sense of closeness to Allah when they become accustomed to performing dhikr, which will lead to feelings of power, calm, and self-assurance
