THE INFLUENCE OF ACADEMIC ETHICS ON STUDENTS’ SELF-CONFIDENCE IN PRESENTASION

Academic ethics serves as an important foundation in shaping the character and personality of students in higher education. A good understanding and implementation of academic ethics can influence various aspects of students' academic life, including self-confidence in presentations. This literature review aims to analyze the influence of academic ethics on students' self- confidence in presentations. The research method uses a literature study by collecting data from various relevant national and international scientific journals published between 2019 and 2024. The terms used in the literature search include academic ethics, self-confidence, student presentations, and higher education. The results of the literature study show that academic ethics has a significant positive influence on students' self-confidence in presentations. This is because understanding academic ethics helps students build personal integrity, reduce academic anxiety, and improve the quality of presentation preparation. Academic ethics encourages students to conduct in-depth research, compile materials honestly, and deliver presentations with full responsibility, thereby increasing their confidence in front of audiences.
